GTA 6 nudist locations: what we know about the resort, beach and Cypress Cove
What the GTA 6 nudist town footage shows, where the poolside area may be, why Cypress Cove disputes the theory, and what is known about a nudist beach.

We share clips like these and other GTA 6 discoveries on our Telegram channel. Nudity is covered in the images shown here.
Nudists appeared in an unofficial recording released in August: Jason, one of GTA 6’s two protagonists, walks among nude guests beside a pool. That scene became known as the “nudist town.” Its name in the game and a reliable route to it have yet to be established. A popular theory that Florida’s Cypress Cove inspired it has also met a direct objection: the resort’s manager did not recognize his property in the footage.
The confusion began with a filename. A search for a real-life model and a story about online reviews followed.
What people mean by the nudist town
On August 24, 2026, Cyberleek released a video lasting roughly two and a half minutes. Paul Tassi of Forbes described dozens of nude characters around a pool, dancing, drinking and spending time near saunas. The guests include men and women. Some are entirely nude, while others still wear individual items of clothing.
PC Gamer reported the filename nudist_town.mp4. That is where “nudist town” came from. It is a label on the video, not a sign found in the game or an established name for a settlement.
In journalists’ accounts, this looks more like a separate poolside recreation area than an entire town. GamesRadar notes a nighttime party, conversations, dancing and different body types among the guests. Gameranx also points to the varied crowd, including many older visitors, and compares the scene to real American nudist camps.
We found a surviving copy of the recording at TecnoGames Brasil. The footage we viewed shows a wooden deck with loungers, a bar counter, separate hot tubs under a shelter, and an illuminated pool with two rounded halves narrowing at one end, somewhat like a heart. The area works as a shared leisure courtyard. Two and a half minutes around the pool cannot reveal the layout of the whole property.

What happens at the pool
Jason himself remains dressed in the August clip. According to PC Gamer, he watches the guests through binoculars from a short distance.
GamesRadar describes a woman noticing the prolonged staring and approaching him to confront him. Tassi describes what follows: Jason hits her, she falls into the pool, and he starts shooting at the people nearby.
The guests deserve a closer look. The NPCs, or characters controlled by the game, do more than stand alone around the water. Dot Esports describes people moving in groups and reacting differently when the shooting starts: some run away, while others kneel. Together with the conversations, dancing and binocular confrontation, this shows a quiet communal space changing in response to Jason’s actions. This one visit cannot establish enduring friendships between guests, identical behavior from everyone or the resort’s full daily routine.
The recording also contains a specific sign that visitors receive services. After the fight and shooting begin, an interface message says, “Staff are not providing services right now.” Notebookcheck notes the message as well. The notification does not identify the services or explain exactly why they became unavailable. It therefore cannot establish opening hours or prove a permanent penalty for causing trouble.

Nudity in the clip does not mean it depicts sex. PC Gamer makes that distinction too: people are mostly standing, talking and relaxing. The site is discussed as a nudist area because its guests are naked, not because the footage demonstrates a sexual game mechanic.

Where is it, and is there a nudist beach?
There is still no verified map address for this area in Leonida, GTA VI’s fictional state. Accounts disagree: All Things How places it around Port Gellhorn, while WikiGTAVI lists its area as unknown. The material reviewed contains neither a sign naming the place nor a verified map segment that settles the disagreement. Directions down a particular road would be invented at this point.
The phrase “GTA 6 nudist beach” often appears in retellings of the same story. A resort pool and a stretch of oceanfront, however, are separate places. The August description of Nudist Town does not itself confirm a distinct clothing-optional beach. TechRadar separately describes a Beach clip that appeared on August 25 and showed an ordinary, busy coastline. There is no basis for treating the two titles as one location.
Florida does have a real example: Haulover, north of Miami Beach. Miami-Dade County explicitly identifies a designated clothing-optional section of the shore. That helps explain why a nudist beach seems plausible in a fictional Florida counterpart. Haulover’s existence does not prove that Rockstar put it in the game or linked it to the August resort.
Why Cypress Cove entered the discussion
In September, fans compared the game area with Cypress Cove Nudist Resort in Kissimmee. A Russian-language WTFTime article cited the pool, shelters and general arrangement of the waterside space. That comparison produced the theory of a specific real-life model, which some headlines quickly presented as a discovered location.
Cypress Cove does fit the general image of a Florida nudist resort. It opened in 1964; its official website describes villas, RV sites and two heated pools. It is a full holiday property, so the comparison had a basis. Planet Nude also attributes the fans’ choice to Cypress Cove’s prominence: it is one of the best-known venues in the American nudist community. Pools and accommodations, however, are not unique identifiers of this particular resort.
The theory faces a substantial objection that came after the first stories. On September 16, Cypress Cove issued its own statement: it has no information that Rockstar used the resort as a model and knows of no official contact or visit related to the game’s development.

The next day, Planet Nude published an interview with manager Peter Sewell. He said he did not recognize Cypress Cove in the images he had seen. Writer Evan Nix, who had visited the resort before, likewise found no obvious resemblance.
This does not prove that no Rockstar employee ever visited privately. Sewell himself acknowledges that management might not know about such a visit. But the resort cannot be called an established model after these clarifications: there is a fan comparison and a direct objection from people familiar with the real place.
How a game scene appeared in real reviews
After the GTA VI comparison, reviews mentioning Jason, fellow protagonist Lucia, binoculars, the pool and guns appeared on Cypress Cove’s page. They described fictional events as though they were experiences of actual guests.
In its statement, management said staff had to separate those posts from genuine guest reviews. The resort also reported a demand for money to change or remove reviews, and said it documented the matter and passed the information through appropriate channels. This is the resort’s account, not a finding established by our own investigation.
Cypress Cove points to another distinction: its own setting is about ordinary shared clothing-free recreation, not voyeurism, sexualized behavior or violence. The game’s satire and the actions of the person controlling Jason in the recording do not describe the real resort’s rules. The flood of joke reviews certainly does not show that Rockstar copied its grounds.
Can players undress, and what about the Altruists?
Visiting a nudist location does not by itself show that players can command a character to remove every item of clothing, or that undressing is required for entry. Jason is dressed in the August clip. The confrontation described above begins when he watches guests through binoculars, so it cannot be called punishment for breaking a dress code either.
There is a separate moment from an official presentation. Reporting on an IGN interview with Rob Nelson published on October 7, RockstarINTEL says the presentation switched to Jason while he was showering. GamesRadar later relayed IGN’s clarification that the camera angle in that moment did not show genitals. That everyday scene involving the protagonist does not, on its own, establish an undress command or rules for visiting the resort.
Later reports of leaked footage showing protagonist nudity are a different matter. VGC, which viewed a 25-minute October Cyberleek recording, describes a fully nude Jason and Lucia without a top. It also notes a tank appearing out of thin air and suggests that the displayed build may have been modified. This report cannot be turned into instructions for undressing in the normal game or evidence of the nudist resort’s rules. Details of nudity and intimate content are covered in our article on adult scenes in GTA 6.
Nor should the new area automatically be treated as the return of the Altruists from GTA V. In that game they are a separate religious cult with a mountain camp and a story connection to Trevor. The nudity of some members does not make every later nudist resort the same community. Accounts of GTA VI’s August clip provide no basis for importing the cult, its people-delivery activity or its rewards from GTA V.
The available descriptions cover one nudist area around a pool in detail. Its official name, district, entry conditions and missions remain unknown, and a separate nudist beach is unconfirmed. The most substantive story surrounding it is how a short game clip became a “discovered model” and then drew an objection from the real resort.
