GTA 6 songs and artists: confirmed music and disputed tracks

GTA 6 songs and artists: 18 radio-preview identifications, 14 tracks in An Extended Look, trailer music, album singles and the status of Russian-language songs.

The complete GTA 6 song list has not been published. For now, the closest connection to in-game radio comes from six official Rockstar previews. Journalists identified 18 musical excerpts in them, although two identifications need qualifications. The artists include Bad Bunny, MGMT, Charli xcx, Black Sabbath and Slayer. Another 14 songs have been identified in An Extended Look, while singles from the forthcoming album can already be heard separately. These lists answer different questions: appearing in a promotional video or on the album does not establish a song’s place on any particular radio station.

This information was checked on October 23, 2026. The principal sources are Rockstar’s music page, Wesley LeBlanc’s Game Informer report on identifying songs from the radio previews, and Ayun Ali’s detailed Game Rant breakdown of An Extended Look.

GTA 6 song list: the official radio previews

Rockstar introduced excerpts from six stations on October 8. Each is a short stretch of programming with music and host dialogue. The player’s text menu names the stations and hosts, but it does not list individual songs. The origin of the song list therefore matters: LeBlanc listened to the previews and used Shazam, while KeenGamer published its own station-by-station identifications.

Here, feat. means a featured performer. The first fifteen entries below substantially agree across those reports. The two disputed Dirty South Classics entries are examined immediately after the table.

Even this small sample shows why the music of a new GTA cannot be reduced to an eighties hit collection. Black Sabbath, Pantera and Slayer sit alongside contemporary Latin songs, African music and pop. The range fits Rockstar’s own description of Leonida, the fictional state that contains Vice City. The familiar Flash FM name does not mean that the old Vice City playlist is returning.

Why two Dirty South Classics entries are disputed

Game Informer records one excerpt as Like a Pimp Mix by JefeEdai. KeenGamer and other catalogues call it Like A Pimp by David Banner featuring Lil’ Flip. That latter recording exists, and Apple Music credits those performers. The existence of the recording, however, does not prove that the preview uses that exact version rather than a derivative track. Choosing a definitive credit from one recognition result would be premature.

The other discrepancy is similar. Game Informer writes Born N Raided, whereas KeenGamer gives Born N Raised by DJ Khaled with Trick Daddy, Rick Ross and Pitbull. These are conflicting descriptions of one preview excerpt, not a reason to count two separate songs.

For both entries, the safest approach is still to compare the broadcast preview itself with the proposed recordings. Rockstar has not supplied written song credits for these excerpts. Version names matter elsewhere, too: Si Es Trucho Es Trucho is identified as a Remix and Midnight Sun as Girls Trip. Searching only the shortened title may turn up a different recording. Our GTA 6 radio guide explains the stations, their hosts and what is known about listening on foot.

Songs in An Extended Look: where they appear

An Extended Look was released on August 27, 2026. Netflix describes it as footage captured entirely in-game on PlayStation 5. That gives it a direct connection to GTA 6, but an edited video still has its own music track: a song over gameplay footage does not necessarily come from a car radio.

Ayun Ali at Game Rant watched the presentation and identified 14 songs, with approximate times and scenes. The times below mark their approximate starts in that breakdown. They are not a final list of in-game radio songs.

Portable stereo to Jason's left in a building corridor in An Extended Look

These times help viewers find a tune remembered from a particular scene. Game Rant, for example, associates People Are People with the characters’ journey after leaving an apartment, and Pound Town with a stereo inside a building early in the presentation. A portable stereo is indeed visible in the corridor. In that case music belongs to the space occupied by the characters, not merely to the editing rhythm of the video.

Against All Odds offers another example. Game Rant places it at about 21:33 in the Megamundo building sequence. Jason reaches a lift, and a familiar song makes an ordinary trip between floors memorable. But this does not establish the precise recording version or a station that might broadcast it. One scene cannot justify promising a dedicated Phil Collins station, or treating every song heard indoors as radio programming.

Smaller errors also creep into retellings. Here Captain & Tennille perform But I Think It’s a Dream, rather than their better-known Love Will Keep Us Together, which appears in some outside lists. The name Meah Pace matters for Off the Grid. A misspelled credit or a substitution with an artist’s more famous hit can easily travel from one table to another.

Trailer songs and album singles: what each confirms

If by GTA 6 music you mean the first trailer, the answer is straightforward: Love Is A Long Road by Tom Petty. The principal song in the second trailer is Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters. Both are credited in Rockstar’s official video descriptions. This confirms their use in the respective trailers, but it does not identify an in-game station.

The October 15, 2026 Launch Trailer features Flower in a Hurricane by Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar explicitly linked the track to that trailer and included the single in Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. One track therefore belongs in two of these categories, while its in-game radio placement remains unknown.

The second trailer also contains brief musical excerpts. NME’s Ali Shutler identified three songs on the car radio during Jason’s drives:

SongArtist
Everybody Have Fun TonightWang Chung
Child SupportZenglen and 5 Etwal
Talkin’ To Myself AgainTammy Wynette

Official Charts additionally lists Thunder Island by Jay Ferguson and I Love Rock N Roll by The Arrows. The latter identification needs a qualification: Fullclear notes disagreement between The Arrows and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts for the Ammu-Nation advert excerpt. Those are different recordings of the same song. We retain the title and flag the performer as uncertain rather than choosing the more familiar name. All these brief identifications come from publications. They are not a complete set of Rockstar music credits and do not settle the final station playlists.

Rockstar’s current music page separately presents nine singles from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album:

That’s ItYung Lean feat. Future and Metro Boomin

Last Thing You NeedMorgan Wallen
SuzukiFuerza Regida
Macacoa 2000Rauw Alejandro
Don’t ChartCardi B
Bright Lights, Big CityKeith Richards

The album is scheduled for November 19, 2026. It is announced as a separate collection of 34 original tracks. The nine singles currently listed are not all 34 tracks, and 34 is not a count of in-game radio songs. Nor can Last Thing You Need be assigned to Back Country merely because Morgan Wallen has been linked to that station.

Suzuki illustrates why the current primary page matters. When our first report on Fuerza Regida’s recording appeared, its inclusion on the official list had not been confirmed. Rockstar now lists the title and artist itself. Its status as an album single has changed, but placement on a particular radio station still needs separate confirmation. Justice’s original score and the album’s individual songs should likewise not be treated automatically as one radio playlist.

What Skrilla and Panama have said

A musician’s direct statement provides a different level of evidence. Rapper Skrilla said on Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast that his song known as Doot Doot (6 7) would be in GTA 6. The remark comes at roughly 52:17, and Dexerto reported its context. These are the artist’s own words, but Rockstar has not named a station for the recording or included it among its published song titles.

There are two easily confused uses of the name: Skrilla is the rapper’s stage name, while Skrilla in the An Extended Look table above is the title of a Kodak Black song. Identifying the latter does not verify the rapper’s claim about a different track.

Another case concerns Back to Life by Poolside and Panama. In a preserved screenshot of a reply, the panamamusicofficial account tells a listener that the song will appear in GTA 6. RockstarINTEL reported the reply on February 14, 2026 and said the comment was later removed. The screenshot is available, but it documents a statement by that account, not a Rockstar announcement. Neither an in-game station nor the song’s presence in the final release has been confirmed.

Will GTA 6 include Russian-language songs?

There is no confirmed list of Russian-language songs yet. The Rockstar announcements and public station material checked here do not confirm tracks by Basta or Morgenshtern, or ДИНАСТИЯ by VILLIAN and madk1d. The last title is a song by two performers, not a radio station; madk1d announced its video in a public channel. That makes inclusion unconfirmed. It does not establish that these songs will definitely be absent at release.

A short clip with substituted music, a user-made playlist and a track titled GTA 6 cannot replace an announcement by the studio or rights holder. Even a recognizable song in footage calls for a basic check: is it the game’s original sound, or music added by the person posting the clip? We found no reliable primary statement placing ДИНАСТИЯ in GTA 6. The music-video announcement confirms the song’s existence, not its inclusion in the game. Inventing a backstory or an official denial for it would be equally misleading.

The story of Russian-Argentine musician Dmitry Lavrutov needs separate care. Championat first reported his involvement, then marked its own report as fake and added a correction: Rockstar had not confirmed any such collaboration. The old text remains below the correction. Later retellings still repeat the original assertion, so a recent publication date is weaker evidence here than the outlet’s actual editorial correction.

Two questions should also stay separate: music by a Russian composer and a song sung in Russian are not the same thing. Discussing Russian-language radio requires a specific confirmed track, not just a musician’s biography.

Real Dimez and Vice City’s own music scene

GTA 6 also has fictional performers. Rockstar introduced Real Dimez, a duo comprising Bae-Luxe and Roxy. According to the official description, an early hit with local rapper DWNPLY helped them gain attention. They are now signed to Only Raw Records, where Dre’Quan Priest is trying to make it in the music business.

That is an established part of the game’s world. Rockstar has not, however, named the early single or placed it on a station. Real Dimez can therefore be discussed as Leonida musicians without inventing a tracklist for them. Their connections to Dre’Quan and Boobie Ike are covered in our GTA 6 characters guide.

The same caution applies to real artists. Hosting a station, having a song heard on air and appearing on a separate album require different evidence. A shared name does not automatically bring an artist’s entire catalogue into the game.

Where to listen and what remains open

Start with Rockstar’s music page linked in the sources. Under Radio, choose a station and select Preview Station. This opens a continuous excerpt of its programming, and its menu lets you switch stations. The album singles have separate buttons for listening to the complete tracks on the same page.

For a particular recording, search by both song title and artist from the tables. Check qualifiers such as Remix, and compare the official preview itself before deciding between the two disputed Dirty South entries. A user playlist called GTA 6 Official Soundtrack is not, by its title alone, a Rockstar account or a definitive licence list.

The full station tracklists, placement of most An Extended Look songs, precise versions of disputed recordings and any Russian-language additions remain open until more is disclosed. Separate rules for changing the music across editions or later updates have not been published either. The confirmed excerpts already offer a useful guide, but a promise to list every GTA 6 song goes beyond the available evidence.
