Xbox's Matthew Ball denies GTA 6 cloud streaming exclusivity
Matthew Ball denies reports of exclusive GTA 6 cloud streaming rights and a PC cloud launch. Streaming on other devices remains unclear.
Xbox strategy executive Matthew Ball responded to reports that Microsoft had obtained exclusive cloud streaming rights for GTA 6. He said the game would not have exclusive streaming and would not launch on PC through the cloud.
Ball confirmed GTA 6’s Xbox release on 19 November. He did not clarify whether the game would be available through Xbox Cloud Gaming on other devices. It was therefore too early to conclude that there would be no cloud launch at all.
